The present article is the backbone for showing the effectiveness of the good agricultural practices (GAPs) in agriculture field which are generally being found an instrumental in promoting the rural development by enhancing agricultural productivity, by ensuring food safety, input management, plant protection measure, and supporting to the environmental sustainability and suitability for diverse growth of food crops in rural settings for livelihood security in pan India and sustaining humanity in the world. The rural livelihood always been dependent on the production status of the crops and weather conditions since humanity. Even though now, if weather condition gets un-supportive the productivity get reduced in the affected part of the country. Moreover the innovative practices, methods, strategies and interventions are the backbone for controlling the harsh situation in production system rather by greenhouse cultivation, precision farming, smart agriculture, micro irrigation, poly-houses, low tunnel cultivation, raised bed planting, or water conservation practices are the example for good agriculture practices the maintain the production and weather shocks to feed the population in the country. Here we should always respects and follows all those practices that are good for humanity and to run the livelihood right from production, marketing and consume chain and value addition chain to food processing and post-harvest management everywhere to see the sustainable future of agriculture in the country.
