The pursuit of sustainable agriculture has become essential in addressing Sustainable Development Goal 2 i.e., global food security, end hunger, environmental challenges and economic resilience. Agri-tech, which includes cutting-edge technologies like digital agriculture, biotechnology and precision farming, provides favourable ways to improve agricultural productivity and sustainability. Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) play a vital role in bringing these innovations by fostering convergence between government agencies, private enterprises, research institutions and farmers. This chapter explores the mutual potential of Agri-tech and PPPs in directing sustainable agricultural practices. Knowledge, capital and resources bring together to a common platform by PPPs and help in boost the creation, testing and use of innovative agricultural technology. The study also finds successful case studies in which PPPs have promoted climate smart practices, enhanced soil and water management, and advanced climate change mitigation. PPPs create an enabling environment for innovation, scalability and inclusivity in agriculture by imposing the strengths of both public and private sectors. The integration of Agri-tech through PPPs not only enhances productivity but also ensures sustainable resource use, minimizes environmental impact and promotes the well-being of farming communities. This chapter concluded by talking about policy recommendations and exercises to strengthen PPP frameworks, thereby accelerating the transition towards sustainable agriculture.
