This study on perceptions of Krishi Vigyan Kendras’ (KVK) Professionals on Cyber Agricultural Extension: using A Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) Approach, conducted in Assam, India, during 2023-2024, aimed to assess perceptions and attitudes towards cyber extension in agriculture using the TAM framework. In agricultural extension, the TAM constructs viz Perceived Usefulness (PU) and Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) are pivotal as they influence extension officers’ willingness to adopt and promote new technologies among farmers. Non-probability sampling techniques, specifically purposive and snowball methods were employed to select 86 Subject Matter Specialists (SMSs) from 23 KVKs in Assam. Data was collected in person, via speed post, and on online platforms. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to measure the perceptions of SMSs from KVKS of Assam. The findings revealed that nearly half of the respondents were middle-aged, with 53.5% holding postgraduate degrees and 46.5% holding Ph.D. degrees. Over half had 2-7 years of work experience, and most received strong organizational support. The majority demonstrated digital competencies. Knowledge about cyber agricultural extension tools was evenly distributed with 50% knowledgeable and 50% less knowledgeable. Most (79%) of SMSs held overall favorable perceptions towards use of cyber agricultural extension tools. Regarding TAM constructs, a high majority (72.09%) perceived cyber agricultural extension as useful, and a majority (63.95%) found it easy to use. A positive correlation was found between perceived ease of use and usefulness.
