Present Book, the editor has made an attempt to describe all the important aspects of medicinak and Aromatic plants in one phase which will be helpful for the professionals, researchers and scholars working in the field of Natural Products in general, and Botany, Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Sciences in particular.
The present book "Advances in medicinal and Aromatic Plants"(Volume1)is divide into 04 parts containing 18 chapters. The chapters are arranged in chronological order, with clearly described experimental observations, so that it is easy to understand the concept/protocols reated to the plant and pharmaceutical sciences/natural products.
Part 1 provides three (cultivation and conservation) focused on sustainable agricultural techniques and phytochemicals - the need behind MAPs: Part 2 provides ten chapters (Bioprospects and Drug Development) describing various techniques for evaluating the biofficay of medicinal and aromatic plants as an antidiabetic and Anticancerous as well as their efficacy against the pathogenic organism (fungi And bacteria both), and insect pests up their mechanism of action, However, Part 3 provides four chapters (Biotechnological Aspects) contain DNA Polymorphism, RAPD and tissue culture Techniques, however, and Part 4 (Futuristic Technology) is focused on the Strategies for MAPs.
In addition to this, plant Biotechnology molecular techniques and their applications in MAps as well as Drug testing protocols can also be useful multi disciplinary sciences.
