Green Technology: An Approach For Sustainable Environment
The term technology refers to the application of knowledge for practical purposes. The field of green technology encompasses a continuously evolving group of methods and materials, from techniques for generating energy to non-toxic cleaning products.
Green technology will save the-world stuff like toxic-waste-eating trees, smart electricity grids, oceangoing robots, and floating environmental sensors. Then there is the alternative-energy home fueling station that could jump-start the long-awaited hydrogen economy. This technology may ream far out - but it will probably be here a lot sooner than you think.
The present expectation is that this field will bring innovation and changes in daily life of similar magnitude to the information technology explosion over the last two decades. In these early stages, it is impossible to expectation what green technology may eventually encompass. The goals that inform developments in this rapidly growing field include: sustainability, cradle to cradle design, source reduction, innovation, and viability. Green technology is essential for the conservation of energy, soil health, green building, environmentally preferred purchasing, green chemistry and green nanotechnology.
The uncontrolled environmental problems are pretty overwhelming, but green technology is a hope for solutions to these problems.
