The issue on Organic Farming vs Chemical Farming is a subject of debate for more than 5 decades. Still conflicts are on-going. The adverse impact of chemical farming is already established but still scientists are recommending it and farmers are following the same to ensure food production. On the other hand, there is doubt in public mind whether organic farming and natural farming can play important role in solving future challenges in producing food. This book aims at understanding the many facets of organic farming research, technology, market and database. It also outlines and discusses several issues related to organic and conventional farming. This book covers: Organic farming – An introduction, Ill effects of chemical farming hazards, Need for Non – violent Agricultural Farming Movement, Biofertiliser technology, Scientific validation of ITK based liquid manures, Organic farming market, Comparison between organic farming and conventional farming, How much we can depend on Organic Farming, Chronological footprints of organic farming Development at Global and National level and many other related aspects.
