Floristic Diversity Of Wild And Ornamental Trees
This book includes most of the common wild tree, however large shrubs (sometimes may be small trees) are also included. People depends directly or indirectly on plants in their daily lives. Many wild plants are native plants which are vigorous enough to thrive in situations which have been occupied by men. Generally, the indigenous wild plants accomplish the flora of particular area, but many exotic wild plants mingled with the local plants and becomes a part of wild flora. Others have been introduced in various ways from other parts of the world, and finding our climate suitable, have spread over our region. They continuous affects the local flora and fauna. So, common exotic wild trees are included in this book. After the description of wild tree plants, necessity of investigations of common ornamental trees are felt, because these are intermixed with the local plants and develop into a common flora. Hence, vast tree flora is included in this book. Some plant products are harmful while many others are useful to human beings and ungulates. It is essential to know about the growth habits and means of pollination and dispersal of plants domain.
Mostly taxonomical work is with technical botanical language and arrangements of plants without alphabetically. This is the main reasons which make them not beneficial for all in my view. Hence the effort has been made, by the use of simple descriptive terms and arrange alphabetically to make it valuable for interested persons and students.
